Building on the success of ’23 Things’; a program in 2006 helping librarians learn the explosion of web 2.0 applications, ’23 Mobile Things’ has taken the idea further to focus on mobile web 2.0.
Developed in Danish (how we love Danish libraries!) by library superstar Jan Holmquist, the English version is an international collaboration, guided by Holmquist, with Dr. Micheal Stevens (Tame the Web) reporting on the outcomes.
There is also and ‘ANZ 23 Mobile Things’ version which covers everything you need to know about all the amazing things people are doing with information, libraries and mobile devices.
From mapping apps such as History Pin to content curation with Pinterest and Tumblr , you can quickly find loads of really useful information, tools and advice on these sites.
